8X.YYYY EMBEDDED JETDIRECT ERROR
To continue turn off then on
The embedded HP Jetdirect print server has
encountered a critical error, as specified by
YYYY.
1. Turn the device off, and then turn the
device on.
2. Turn the device off, reinstall the EIO
accessory, and then turn the device on.
3. Perform a RFU.
4. Replace the EIO formatter.
5. Remove the EIO accessory if one is
installed.
99.XX.YY (Errors 99.00.01 to 99.00.25)
This error occurs during a Remote Firmware
Upgrade (RFU).
The upgrade might have failed because of a
failing component or because the existing
firmware is the same as the firmware in the
RFU.
1. Turn the device off, and then turn the
device on.
2. Check to find out if an RFU is available.
If it is, perform the RFU
3. If the RFU fails, check the description in
the engine event log. The event log
identifies the type of 99 error. If it is
failing because the firmware is the latest
available, an upgrade is not necessary
and the error can be ignored.
4. Make sure that the formatter and output
device connections are secure.
[FS] Device failure The EIO hard disk had a critical failure and
can no longer be used.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Remove and reinstall EIO hard disk.
3. Turn the device on again.
4. If the error persists, replace the EIO
hard disk.
[FS] File operation failed The requested operation could not be
performed. You might have attempted an
illegal operation, such as trying to download
a file to a nonexistent directory.
1. Check the file name and try again.
2. Check the driver settings to see if any
job retention features are selected.
[FS] File system if full A PJL file system write command was
received but could not be executed because
one of the following devices was full:
ROM DISK
RAM DISK
CARD SLOT
Resend the command.
