Launder with the SP~CZ?UBBER Cycle,
usingthehottestwaterthefabriccanstandand
therecommendedamountofdetergent.
Ifthestainremains—andifthe stainedarticleis whiteorbleachable—washitagainwiththe
SP07X’RU.BER Cycle, using warm water and bleach (seepage 13) plus the recommended
amount of detergent.

If the stained article is white or bleachable, use warm water and chlorine bleach
(seepage13)plus the recommended amount of detergent. For other washable
fabrics, use an oxygen bleach.
Stains that need pretreatment
White and Bleachable Fabrics
Washwithhotwaterand1/2cupofcitricor oxalicacid~;or apply
commercialrust removerusingmanufacturer’sdirections,rinse
andlaunder.
Rub with ice or immerse inverycoldwater.Use dull tool to
carefilly scrape ofas much adhesive or gum as possible.
Sponge
witha safedrycleaningfluid,*thenlaunder.
Fresh stains: Place stain face down on an absorbent towel and
sponge with dry cleaning fluid? or use spray cleaner. Apply
undiluted liquid detergent. Old stains; bleach per Stain Removal
Hint on page 21.
Soften with oil, lard or petroleum jelly, then sponge with
turpentine or banana oil. Launder in warm water.

Under no circumstances should fabrics containing flammable materials (waxes, cleaning fluids, etc.) be washed in washer.
~Oxalic acid is toxic. Takecare not to ingest it accidentally.
