The paper’s size is not
compatible with the printer.
Use paper that meets the paper
requirements for this printer. See
“Paper” on page A-2.
The paper size and/or media
type lever positions are not
correct.
Make sure that all the printer driver
settings, paper size and media type
lever positions on the paper tray, and
paper loaded in the paper tray match.
If you load paper that is not listed on
the lever position settings, select
Other
.
The edge guides are
positioned too tightly and are
squeezing the paper, or they
are too loose and are not
guiding the paper.
Position the edge guides snug against
the paper edges, but not too tight.
Paper was loaded in a paper
path that does not support
that kind of paper.
Make sure you load paper in an
appropriate paper path. Be aware that
the correct paper path(s) varies
depending on the type, size, and
orientation of the paper you load. See
page 2-3 for the instructions.
When loading certain kinds
of paper, you need to put a
support sheet under the
paper stack.
See page 2-5 for the information.
When printing long
documents or many sheets
of certain kinds of EPSON
special paper, you need to
load and eject the cleaning
sheet to clean the paper path.
See page 1-6 for details.
