32 Transferring Information to a New Computer

Connect the Easy Transfer Cable to the source computer.
You are prompted to select a device option.

Continue until you are prompted to plug the other end of the Easy Transfer Cable into the
destination computer.
The screen indicates that a connection has been made.

At the computer you are transferring data from, follow the on-screen instructions to select the
settings and files you want to transfer.

You will come to a screen that indicates you are ready to transfer files.

From the destination computer, view the transfer and wait for the indication that the transfer
is complete.

You are prompted to restart the computer.

The computer reboots and the transfer is complete.
