OPERATION
Driving Over Obstacles
1. Be alert! Look ahead and learn
to read the terrain you’re
traveling on. Be constantly
alert for hazards
such as logs, rocks
and low hanging
branches.
2. Avoid operating
over large obstacles
such as rocks and
fallen trees when possible.
If unavoidable, use extreme caution.
3. Always have a passenger dismount before
operating over an obstacle that could cause a fall from the vehicle
or vehicle tipover.
WARNING
Severe injury or death can result if your vehicle comes in contact
with a hidden obstacle. Not all obstacles are immediately visible.
T ravel with caution in unfamiliar terrain.
ParkingonanIncline
Avoid parking on an incline if
possible. If it’s unavoidable,
follow these precautions:
1. Turn the engine off.
2. Place the transmission
in PARK.
3. Lock the parking
brake.
4. Always block the rear
wheels on the downhill
side as shown in the
illustration.
