Storage Recommendations
CAUTION
Starting the engine during the storage period will disturb the protective film created by
fogging and damage could occur . Never start the engine during the storage period.
Clean the Exterior
Make necessary repairs and then clean the ATV thoroughly as outlined on page 159.
Stabilize the Fuel
Add Polaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel Stabilizer to the fuel tank,
following the instructions on the conta iner f or the r ecommende d amount. Fill the fuel t ank
with fue l. A llow 15-20 minute s of ope ration for the stabiliz er to dispe rse thr ough the fue l in
the ta nk and ca rburetor. T urn the fuel valve off a nd drain the car buretor bowl.
NOTE: Carbon Clean will also reduce the possibility of bacterial growth in the fuel system.
