Storage Recommendations
Clean the Exterior
Make necessary repairs and then clean the ATV thoroughly as outlined on page 160.
Stabilize the Fuel
Add Polaris Carbon Clean Fuel Treatment or Polaris Fuel Stabilizer to the fuel tank,
following the instructions on the container f or the r ecomme nded amount. Fill the fue l tank
with fue l. Allow 15-20 minutes of operation f or the sta bilizer to disperse thr ough the f uel in
the ta nk and ca rburetor. T urn the fuel valve off a nd dra in the ca rburetor bowl. NOTE: Car bon
clea n will also reduce t he possibility of ba cter ial grow th in the fue l system.
Starting the engine during the storage period will disturb the protective film created by
fogging and damage could occur . Never start the engine during the storage period.
CAUTION
