WARRANTY on all components of the Polaris All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) against defects
inmaterialorworkmanship. Polarisalsogivesaoneyearlimitedwarrantyonthefinaldrive
chain forfailuredue to defects. This warranty covers the parts and labor charges for repair
or replacement of defective parts which are covered by this warranty. This warranty begins
on thedateof purchase. Thiswarranty istransferrableto anotherconsumerduring thewar-
ranty period through a Polaris dealer.
REGISTRATION
At the time of sale, the Warranty Registration Form must be completed by your dealer and
submitted to Polaris within ten days. Upon receipt of this registration, Polaris will record
the registration for warranty. No verification of registration will be sent to the purchaser as
the copy of the Warranty Registration Form will be the warranty e ntitlement. If you have
not signed t he original registration and received the “customer copy”, please contact your
dealer immediately. NO WARRANTY COVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS
YOUR ATV IS REGISTERED WITH POLARIS.
Initial dealer preparation and set-up of your ATV isvery importantin ensuringtrouble-free
operation. Purchasing amachinein thecrateor withoutproperdealer set-up will voidyour
warranty coverage.
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES
ThePolarislimitedwarrantyexcludesany failuresthatarenot causedby adefectinmaterial
or workmanship. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear,
abuse or improper handling. This warranty also does not cover any ATV that has been al-
tered structurally, modified, neglected, improperly maintained, used for racing, orused for
purposesotherthanforwhichitwasmanufactured,or forany damageswhichoccurduring
trailer transitor asa resultof unauthorizedservice orthe useof unauthorized parts. In addi-
tion, this warranty does not cover physical damage to paintor finish, stress cracks, tearing
orpuncturing ofupholsterymaterial,corrosion,or defectsin parts,componentsor theATV
due to fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’ control.
Thiswarranty doesnot covertheuseofunauthorizedlubricants,chemicals,orfuelsthatare
not compatible with the ATV. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be, at
Polaris’ exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or components
or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE THE ONLY
REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.
POLARIS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO ANY PERSON FOR INCIDENTAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY DESCRIPTION,WHETHER
ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CON-
TRACT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT OR OTHERWISE. Some states do not per-
mit theexclusion orlimitation ofincidental orconsequential damagesor impliedwarranties,
sotheabovelimitationsor exclusionsmay notapply to you ifinconsistent with controlling
state law .
