Emergency Override
1. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off. Repeat this procedure 1 more
time.
2. Wait for 10 seconds
3. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off. Repeat this procedure 1 more
time.
4. Wait for 10 seconds
5. Turn the ignition key to the "Crank" position, then turn the key off. Repeat this procedure 1 more
time and the engine will start.

Note 1:
For vehicles with manual transmission, you must depress the clutch while performing the
Emergency Override procedure.
Note 2: Once disarmed, follow the procedure on page 4 to put the unit into the Valet Mode until your
transmitter is replaced or repaired.
Note 3: Vehicles with "Power Sentinel" feature (when you turn off the ignition the radio stays on until
you open a door and then it turns off) will require that the driver’s door be open when the override
procedure is performed.
