Steering Wheel Controls (XR)
LEFT-SIDE CONTROLS
1. Rotate to scroll through menu items and push to make
a selection.
CD30 or CD30 MP3 audio systems: Pressing the
thumbwheel at any time displays the Board Computer
where you can scroll through the different functions.
Press and hold for two seconds to reset individual
values. Press and hold for four seconds
to reset all values.
CDC40 Opera audio system: Directly mimics the large
multifunction control knob. All functions and settings
can be accessed and adjusted
using this control so that you
can keep your hands on the
steering wheel while
driving.
2. Next stored radio station,
restart CD, next MP3 album
(if equipped) or next CD
(with
6-disc changer).
3. Switch between radio and CD.
RIGHT-SIDE CONTROLS
1. Search radio stations,
next/previous CD track, fast
forward/rewind CD track.
2. Rotate to adjust audio
system volume.
Turn Signals
To signal a full turn, move the left multifunction lever all
the way up or down. Note that the lever returns to center
while the signal flashes. To cancel the signal, complete the
turn or lightly tap the lever up or down.
To signal a lane change, lightly move the lever part way
until the signal starts to flash. The signal will automatically
flash three times and then turn off.
Cruise Control
Press and hold the button
on the back of the left multifunction lever for about two
seconds to turn cruise control
on or off. The message “CC
on” will briefly light in the
odometer display.
Press the top button to set
and maintain the current
speed. The cruise control icon
will light on the gauge cluster.
This button will also increase
the set speed by about 1 mph
each time it is pressed.
Press the bottom button to
resume a set speed after
cruise control has been
disengaged*. This button will
also decrease the set speed by
about 1 mph each time it
is pressed.
* Cruise control will disengage if you apply the brakes, shift into
neutral on the automatic transmission, engage the clutch on the
manual transmission or drop below about 19 mph.

Make sure to point out to customers
the location of the cruise control
button on the back of the left
multifunction lever. This and the
other functions are conveniently
located for fingertip control while
driving so that you can keep your
hands on the steering wheel.
