IMPORTANT! Use only a Power Wheels
®
6 volt (4.0 Amp/Hr.)
battery and built-in thermal fuse. Use of any other battery will
damage your vehicle. Make sure that you charge the battery for
at least 18 hours using the enclosed Power Wheels
®
6 volt
(4.0 Amp/Hr.) charger before operating your vehicle for the
first time. Charge the battery for at least 14 hours after each
use of the vehicle. Never charge the battery longer than 30
hours. Failure to follow these instructions may damage your
battery and will void your warranty.
• Loosen the screw in the rear bumper cover (battery retainer),
as shown.
• Remove the rear bumper cover (battery retainer).
• Place a Power Wheels
®
6 volt (4.0 Amp/Hr.) battery upright in
the battery compartment, as shown.
• Replace the rear bumper cover (battery retainer) and tighten
the screws.
• Plug the battery connector into the motor harness connector.
Note: If the battery connector will not plug into the motor
harness connector, turn it over and try again. Do not force the
battery connector into the motor harness connector.
