•Turn the vehicle body upright.
•Using safety scissors, cut the
plastic retainer holding the gearbox in place.
•Throw away the plastic retainer.

•Turn the vehicle body
over so the bottom is
facing you.
•Loosen and remove the screw and washer holding the rear
axle in place. Remove the rear axle. Set the rear axle aside
for assembly step 4.
•Throw away the screw and washer. They are not
needed for assembly.

•Fit a round bushing, barrel side first,
into the hole inside the battery
compartment.
•Position the gearbox with the teeth
outward. Fit the gearbox through the
large opening in the side of the battery compartment.
