Auxiliary Function Output
The system is equipped with an Auxiliary Function output that can be used to remotely control
an optional feature such as, electric trunk release, remote car starter, power windows, power
sunroof, garage door receiver, etc.
To operate the Auxiliary Function, press Button 2.
• This function will operate regardless of whether the system is armed or disarmed and
will stay active for as long as the Button 2 is held.
Trunk Bypass*
If the Auxiliary Function is being used to remotely open your car’s trunk, your installer can
program the system to allow you to access the trunk remotely while the system is armed, without
triggering the alarm. This will allow you to load or retrieve packages from the trunk without having
to first disarm the alarm.
When the trunk is opened using the remote transmitter, the trunk input, and shock sensor will be
ignored until the trunk is closed.
*To utilize this feature, the alarm’s trunk input must be connected to a trunk pinswitch. If your car is not equipped with a
trunk pinswitch, one can be installed by your Ungo dealer for an additional charge.
Remote Car Starter
When an optional Remote Car Starter (Ungo model number SAA4295) is installed into your car,
the Remote Transmitter can be used to remotely start and run your vehicle to warm-up the
engine, as well as activate the heating / air conditioning system.
Garage Door Receiver
When an optional Garage Door Receiver (Ungo model number SAA5999) is used with your
system, the Remote Transmitters can be set to control almost any automatic garage door opener.
By adding this feature to your system, you not only add the convenience of being able to open
your garage door and activate your car security system by the same remote, but you also add
the protection of Ungo’s Varicode 2 anti-code grabbing technology to your automatic garage door
opener.
As an added benefit, by not keeping a garage door opener in your car, your garage is protected
from break-in by a thief who might break into your car to steal your garage door opener.
