3. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a suitable stand under
the frame.
4. Remove the wheel lug nuts. Remove the wheel.
Wheel Installation
1. With the transmission in gear and the parking brake engaged,
place the wheel in the correct position on the wheel hub. Be sure
the valve stem is toward the outside and the rotation arrows on
the tire point toward forward rotation.
2. Attach the lug nuts and finger tighten.
3. Carefully lower the vehicle to the ground.
4. Torque the lug nuts to 35 ft. lbs.
Lights
When servicing a halogen lamp, don’t touch the lamp with bare fin-
gers. Oil from your skin leaves a residue, causing a hot spot that will
shorten the life of the lamp.
WARNING
POOR LIGHTING WHILE DRIVING CAN RESULT IN
SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH. HEADLIGHT AND TAIL-
LIGHT LENSES BECOME DIRTY DURING NORMAL
OPERATION. WASH THE HEADLIGHTS FREQUENTLY TO
MAINTAIN LIGHTING QUALITY.
HOT COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS BURNS TO
SKIN. DO NOT SERVICE THE HEADLAMPS UNTIL
THEY’VE COOLED SUFFICIENTLY.
