In Case of Difficulty
If you encounter a problem, please review the items in the following
checklist. This guide will help you isolate the problem if the unit is at
fault. Otherwise make sure the rest of your system is properly connected
and completely charged. Contact your authorized Alpine dealer or
Alpine directly at 1-888-NAV-HELP (1-888-628-4357).
The vehicle’s position is erroneous.
Drive the vehicle in an area of good GPS reception to allow the
unit to recalibrate itself. Move to a location where strong GPS
reception is possible.
No operation
The unit does not function.
If you incorrectly install the Box unit, malfunction will occur.
For installation instructions, refer to the Installation Manual.
The touch panel-compatible models (IVA-D105, IVA-W505, iXA-
W404, etc.) sold after 2004 can be connected to the unit.
However, some units may not work, or some functions may not
work, when connecting to this unit. For details, contact your
Alpine dealer.
Reset
If malfunction occurs, disconnect the unit from the Power
Vehicle Harness cable.
