6.SETUPMODE
The SETUP mode ismode is accessed by pressingtheSETUP keymomentarily so the words ‘Setup
Mode’appearatthebottomofthedisplay.ThetransmitterwillreturntotheRUNmodewhenthe
SETUPkeyispressedagainor60secondsafterthelastkeypress.

WhenthetransmitterisintheSETUPmodetheSETUPlightwillbeonandthewords“SetupMenu”
willbeshownatthebottomofthedisplay.

6.2CHANGINGOPTIONS
The purpose of having a menu drivenSETUP mode is to allow for configurationof the transmitter
usingthegraphicaldisplayandkeypad.
OnceanoptionischangedandenteredusingtheENTERkeythatvalueimmediatelybecomesactive.
Itisalsostoredintothenon‐volatilememorywithintheBBRAMandwillbeloadedagainatdevice
start‐up.Toresetthetransmitterconfigurationdefaultsseechapter10.2,ColdStart.
TochangeanoptionintheSETUPmenusystem:
1. SelecttheSETUPmodebypressingtheSETUP/RUNkeyonce.TheSETUPlightwillcomeonand
thedisplaywillhaveth
eformatshownbelow.Theoperationsofthekeysarenowtheoperations
writteninWHITEonthekeypad.Themenunameiswrittenatthebottomofthedisplay.
2. When the SETUP mode has been selected the required function can be found by using the
FUNCTIONUPandFUNCTIONDOWNkeys.
TheoptionsavailableforthatfunctioncanbeseenbyusingtheOPTIONUP&OPTIONDOWN
keys.
3. WhentherequiredoptionisonthedisplaypresstheENTERkeytosavethatvalue.
Whenfinished,presstheSETUP/RUNkeytoreturntotheRUNmode.
