Note: To use the Location Based Service, first you must subscribe to this service. You need
a valid credit card and a functional GPRS connection in order to subscribe to this service.
LBS – Select Position [* S60]
First of all, decide which position to consider for the Location Based Service:
GPS position - this represents your current physical location.
Screen centre - this represents the location you highlighted on the map during map
browsing.
LBS – Select LBS Data [* S60]
Select the type of information you want to access:
Categories of points-of-interest – depending on your physical location, the
application searches for the first 10 landmarks that are the nearest to you.
Friends – depending on the number of people belonging to the group you accessed,
the application generates a list of friends. You can contact them, display their
position on the map, or navigate to them.
