Problem Possible cause Remedy
The Clean the filters
indicator light
comes on at the end
of the programme.
This is a reminder to
clean the fine filter in front
of the heat exchanger unit
under running water.
–
Clean the fine filter.
–
See "Cleaning and care".
To switch off the Clean the
filters indicator light:
–
The indicator light will go
out when the door is
opened and closed again
with the dryer switched on.
~F~ appears and the
programme cannot
be started.
The fine filter is missing or
has been replaced the
wrong way.
–
Replace the fine filter
correctly. ~F~ will
disappear.
–
See "Cleaning and care".
Removing the fine filter
during a drying cycle will
cause the programme to
be cancelled. Cooling
down will flash.
– Replace the fine filter.
– Switch the dryer off and
back on again.
Bars are flashing at
the end of the
programme:
—œ–...C~–...Cœ˜...
The programme has
finished but the laundry is
still being cooled down.
You can either unload the
drum and leave the laundry to
cool at room temperature or
leave it in the dryer to
continue cooling.
The programme will
be cancelled.
The buzzer may
sound and Cooling
down or Finish may
also flash in the
display.
No obvious cause.
–
Switch the dryer off and
back on again.
–
Then start the programme
again.
If this problem happens
again, there is a fault. Contact
Miele Service.
The Start/Stop
button is flashing
slowly and the
display is dark.
The dryer is in Standby
mode.
This is quite normal and
not indicative of any fault.
See "Standby" in
"Programmable functions"
The Start/Stop
button flashes /
does not flash.
The flashing indicates
that a programme can be
started.
After the programme has
started, the flashing will
change to a constant light.
