SPAX PSX & RSX Handling Kits
Moss are pleased to introduced a new adjustable
shock absorber developed in conjunction with
Spax Performance Limited of Bicester, to
improve the handling of Mazda MX-5.
There are two types of kit. The PSX kit provides adjustable damping but
with a fixed ride height and the RSX kit provides both adjustable damping
and adjustable ride height. The adjustable ride height is achieved by the
raising and lowering of the collar on the shock absorber tube. This is
achieved by the use of a ‘C’ spanner, which is supplied with all kits.
The PSX kit for the Mk1 MX-5 lowers the car by 35 mm and the PSX kit for Mk2
car lowers the car by 40 mm. Both kits provide full adjustable damping. The
RSX kits which of course provide full adjustable damping also allow the raising
and lowering of the front and rear of the car independently between 20mm and
50mm on the Mk1 cars and between 10mm and 45mm on the Mk2 cars.
