Equalizer Control
You can set up the equalizer.
Display the Equalizer screen1
Touch [
] > [ ] > [Equalizer]. (page 59)
Set each item2
[SystemQ] Selects an equalizer curve type.
You can select any of the following equalizer
curves.
"Natural"/ "Rock"/ "Pops"/ "Easy"/ "Top40"/
"Jazz"/ "Game"/ "iPod"/ "User"

"User" can be selected after graphic equalizer •
adjustment is carried out. See <Graphic Equalizer
Setup> (page 60).
When "iPod" is selected, the [EQ] button is •
deactivated. "iPod" uses its equalizer function.

You can Manually set the equalizer curve.

When "iPod" is selected in <Equalizer Control>, the •
[EQ] button is deactivated. "iPod" uses its equalizer
function.
Set the Graphic Equalizer3

1 Gain level can be adjusted by touching the
each frequency bar.
[2], [3] Sets a frequency.
[5], [∞] Sets a gain level.
[EQ Init] Returns to the previous level which
the gain level is adjusted.
[Flat] Tone curve becomes flat.
[Bass EXT] Bass Extend settings.
If turned "ON", it extends the 62.5 Hz to the
low register by approximately 20%.
[SW Level] Adjusts the subwoofer volume.
