Thetransportableoxygenconcentratorwasspecifically
designedtominimizeroutinepreventivemaintenance.Only
professionalsofthehealthcarefieldorpersonsfully
conversantwiththisprocesssuchasfactorytrained
personnelshouldperformpreventivemaintenanceor
performanceadjustmentsontheoxygenconcentrator.
Radio Frequency Interference
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywith
EMClimitsspecifiedbyIEC/EN60601‐1‐2.Theselimitsare
designedtoprovideareasonableprotectionagainst
electromagneticinterferenceinatypicalmedicalinstallation.
Otherdevicesmayexperienceinterferencefromeventhelow
levelsofelectromagneticemissionspermittedbytheabove
standards.Todetermineiftheemissionsfromthe
transportableoxygenconcentratorarecausingthe
interference,turnthetransportableoxygenconcentratorOff.
Iftheinterferencewiththeotherdevice(s)stops,thenthe
transportableoxygenconcentratoriscausingthe
interference.Insuchrarecases,interferencemaybereduced
orcorrectedbyoneofthefollowingmeasures:
•Reposition,relocate,orincreasetheseparation
betweentheequipment.
• Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletonacircuit
differentfromthattowhichtheotherdevice(s)is
connected.
Polarized Plug Instruction
Asasafetyfeature,thisappliancemayhaveapolarizedplug
(onebladeiswiderthantheother).Thisplugwillfitina
polarizedoutletonlyoneway.Iftheplugdoesnotfitfullyin
theoutlet,reversetheplug.Ifitstilldoesnotfit,contacta
qualifiedelectrician.DONOTattempttodefeatthissafety
feature.
