Playing back the contents of an MP3/WMA play-
er, a USB memory stick or a memory chip from a
card-reading device
1 Plug the USB cable or the plug of the USB memory stick into the
USB interface »USB« (right side of the device).
Note:
The hi-fi system must be switched off while the USB
connection is being made. If it is not switched off, data can
be lost.
2 Switch on the hi-fi and select USB as the source by pressing
»FUNCTION«.
– Display: briefly »USB«, then »USB READ«, then MP3 mode
with the total number of albums and files in stop mode.
– »NO DEV« appears in the display if no USB source is
connected.
3 Press »
ı
II« to start playback.
– Playback starts with the first file of the first album.
Note:
For MP3 mode with an MP3 player, a USB memory stick or a
card reading device, the same playback and search functions
are available as for MP3 CD mode (see pages 25 to 31).
