*Washingtoolongmayresultinincreasedsoildeposition.Useshorterwashtimesfor

~Torestoregrayedclothes,followoneoftheseprocedures:
1.Putclothesin washer.FillwithHOTwater.CheckManufacturers’CareLabelsto
determineifhotwateris suitableforgarment.
~Adda non-precipitatingtypeofwatersoftenersuchas Calgonwithphosphate—
use2%timesasmuchas youneedfornormalwatersoftening.
~Donotusedetergentor soap.
*Allowclothestogothroughcompletecycle.
@Repeat,if necessary.
2. IfyouprefertousetheSoakSetting,seepage8.Usethewatersoftenerinplaceof
soakagentor prewashdetergentandallowclothesto soakforabout20 minutes.

~Ironor manganeseinwatermaycauseoverallyellowingor yellowspots.
1. Useextradetergentplusa non-precipitatingwatersoftenerdissolvedin water
beforeaddingclothes.Usenon-chlorinebleach.
2. Havea specialfilterer chemicalfeederinstalledin yourhometo removeironand
manganesefromwater.
3. Runhotwaterfor a fewminutesto cleanironresiduebuildupin lines;drainwater
heateroccasionally.
4. Toremovespots:spreadstainedportionoverpan ofboilingwaterandsqueeze
lemonjuice throughstain.ToremoveoverallyeUow,
usea commerciallyavailable
rust scaleremover,followingpackageinstructions.If porcelaindamagecanoccur,do
notusein thewasher;use a plasticcontainer.
