Shrinkagecausedbyoverheatingoccurs in certain knitfabrics that have been heat-
shaped. When washing, drying or ironing temperatures exceed the temperaturesused to
shape set, shrinkagemay occur.This cannot be corrected, but it can be prevented by
washing in cool,or warm water and drying on Low or Delicate heat.
~Leaving clothes in dryer after tumbling stops. Remove and hang clothesimmediately.
~Too many clothes in dryer. Dry only one washer load at a time. Do not combine loads.

detergent.
~Accumulation of lime scale due to use of carbonate detergents. If you must use a non-
phosphate detergent, avoid the use of high-carbonate-built detergent.
