Solution
Power is not being
supplied to the
printer.
The
POWER
light does
not go on.
The
POWER
light
comes on briefly and
then goes off. The
light stays off even
when the power is
switched off and on
again.
The power cable may be disconnected to
may not be completely plugged into the
electrical outlet. Turn off the printer and
check the power cable connections
between the printer and the electrical
outlet. Refer to l-15.
The power switch may be off. Turn on
the power switch.
The problem may lie with the electrical
outlet. Make sure that the electrical
outlet is not controlled by an outside
source such as a wall switch. Refer to
l-16.
Power is not being supplied to the
electrical outlet. Connect another
electrical device to the outlet to check
whether the outlet is operating properly.
The voltage may not be correct for your
printer. Make sure that the voltage of
your electrical outlet matches the rating
indicated on the label at the back of the
printer. If the voltages do not match,
unplug the printer and contact your
EPSON dealer immediately. Do not
reconnect the power cable to an
electrical outlet. Refer to l-16.
