Put the desired amount
of tea into the center
column.
Bodum recommends
2–3 tablespoons of tea
for each litre of water.
Pour in hot water. The
maximum fill line is
4 cm below the spout.
Place lid on pot with
the plunger in the raised
position. Let tea brew.
We recommend 3–5
minutes for black teas,
or 5–10 minutes for
herbal or fruit teas.
When the tea has
reached your preferred
strength, push the
plunger down firmly.

The tea is now sealed
in the base of the
column, away from the
hot water. Brewing is
stopped and your tea
will remain at its current
strength.
