Chapter 3: Configuration
Priority: Select from three levels of power priority: Low, High, and Critical.
The switch uses priority if remote devices require more power than the power supply can deliver. In this case, the port with the
lowest priority will turn off. If more power is still needed, the next higher priority port number will turn off.
• Maximum Power: This is the maximum power in watts that can be delivered to a remote device.
NOTE: To set the port to support IEEE 802.3at, the maximum allowed value is 30 watts.
• Buttons:
Save: Click to save changes.
Reset: Click to undo any changes made locally and revert to previously saved values.
3.10.2 Status
The Status page allows the user to inspect the current status for all PoE ports.
Web Interface:
To display Power over Ethernet status in the Web interface:
1. Click “Status.”
2. Select Display Power over Ethernet Status Information.
3. Click “Refresh.”

Parameter Description
• Local Port: This is the logical port number for this row.
• PD Class: This describes the amount of power the Powered Device (PD) will require during normal operation.
• Power Requested: Shows the requested amount of power the PD wants to reserve.
• Power Allocated: Shows the amount of power the switch has allocated for the PD.
• Power Used: Shows how much power in watts the PD is using.
• Current Used: Shows how much current in mA the PD is using.
• Priority: Shows the port’s priority configured by the user.
• Port Status: Shows the port’s status.
