3. Click on the Hardw are tab (2).
4. Make sure the disk drive corresponding to the C: drive is selec ted in the All disk dr ive s section (3).
5. Click Properties (4).
6. Click on the Policies tab (6).
7. Uncheck the Enable write caching on the disk box (7).
8. Click OK, then click OK once more to close the drive properties dialog.
9. If prompted, reboot the PC
