CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
CLUTCH CABLE ADJUSTMENT
• RemovefourscrewsfromRearDriveCover.Layaside
cover and screws.
• PlaceClutchLeverin“DISENGAGED"position
• TheCableshouldbeunderslighttensionbutshould
not pull the Clutch Lever more than 1/8" away from the
Switch Body.
NOTE:IfthePlungerextendsmorethan1/8"outfrom
the switch body, the cable tension is too tight and the
Engine will not start.
TO INCREASE CABLE TENSION
• PlaceBladeClutchLeverinthe“DISENGAGED"
position.
• LoosentheinnernutontheClutchCable.
• TightentheouternutontheClutchCable.
TO DECREASE CABLE TENSION
• PlaceBladeClutchLeverinthe“DISENGAGED"
position.
• LoosentheouternutontheClutchCable.
• TightentheinnernutontheClutchCable.
• Repeattheaboveprocedureuntilyouhavethecorrect
tension.
