PURE IN ITS INTENTIONS, the interior of the Impreza WRX STi was designed for one purpose: To provide drivers with the
most performance-focused environment possible. So Subaru engineers gave it a short-throw, six-speed manual shifter for
quick, responsive shifts. Body-hugging STi-design front seats with grippy, perforated Blue Ecsaine upholstery that helps
keep both driver and front passenger firmly planted. An ergonomic and well-organized instrument panel featuring large,
competition-inspired analog gauges. And as a nod to the occasional need for life’s little luxuries, a new automatic climate
control system that allows you to set a temperature and then get back to more important matters—like the business of driving.
The metallic-trimmed cockpit of the WRX STi features
a thick new three-spoke, leather-wrapped, STi-design
steering wheel, and a new standard premium audio system
with a 6-disc in-dash CD player.
Unique to the WRX STi, a Driver Controlled Center
Differential (DCCD) allows the driver to manually control
the front/rear torque split and adjust according to specific
performance requirements and driving conditions.
