OPERATION
Driving Uphill
If all forward speed is lost:
Keep your weight uphill.
If the vehicle begins rolling downhill, never apply engine power. Never
apply the brakes aggressively while rolling backwards.
1. Apply the brakes gradually.
2. When fully stopped, lock the hydraulic parking brake.
3. Dismount on the uphill side, or on the left side if the vehicle is
pointed straight uphill.
4. Use the K-turn to turn around. See page 56.
Always follow the procedures outlined in this
manual for driving on hills. Avoid climbing
hills steeper than 25°.
