familiarise yourself with your new kitchen scale
before using it the first time. Please retain this

Read all instructions before using.
Use this appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual.
In order to prevent interference; do not use the
device near equipment with strong electrical field.
Keep the device at a sufficient distance from such
equipment or turn them off when using.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
INSERTING BATTERIES
- Open the battery compartment on the back
of the device.
- Insert the 4 x 1.5 V batteries in the battery
department.
- Close lid after inserting the batteries.
START TO USE
Place the scale on a hard even surface. Do not
place it on a towel or cloth.
Press the ON/OFF button next to the display.
Place a bowl on the scale and press "TARE" to
reset the scale.
Now the bowl can be moved and will not be
weighed together with the ingredients.
The scale will be turned off automatically if not
used for 2-3 minutes.
The "TARE" button can be used every time you
wish to reset the scale.
There is a switch transition on the bottom of the
scale. You can choose the weighing units freely.
The weighing unit is in “gram” if the switch is on
the position of “g”. The Weighing unit is “Ounces”
if the switch is on the position of “oz”.

MAINTENANCE:
Do not overload the scale. Do not shock the scale
with sudden loading or striking.
Keep the scale in a warm and dry place.
REPLACEMENT OF BATTERY
It will display "LO" when the power is low. Please
open the battery compartment and replace the
batteries as described above.
CLEANING
- Clean the appliance with a dry soft cloth. Do
not use alcohol, benzene, thinner or other
harsh chemicals to clean the device
- The Bowl can be cleaned under running
water
- Never immerse the appliance into water and
other liquids!
