The CX-5 embodies the latest generation of Mazda vehicle design, called KODO (“Soul of Motion”). Inspired by the stance of a cheetah
the moment before it pounces, it represents the exact moment motion begins, releasing tremendous force and accumulated energy.
Every curve was sculpted with this in mind, and every detail reveals the designer’s purpose: a powerful, bold new look down to the last
detail. Going forward, every Mazda will adopt this new look pioneered by the CX-5.
