AV Mode (Magellan RoadMate 9055 only)
The Magellan RoadMate 9055 will display audio/visual information from an external AV player (DVD, backup
camera, etc.) when signal is applied to the RoadMate using a standard AV cable (not supplied).
Playing Audio/Visual
When an AV signal appears at the AV In connection on the bottom of the Magellan RoadMate, the display will
switch from Navigation to AV mode. The output of the DVD player or other external device will then be
displayed on the Magellan RoadMate.
Navigation Alerts while in AV Mode
When there is a voice alert from the Navigation portion of the receiver, the audio from the AV player will be
muted and the alert announced. When the navigation alert has ended, the AV audio will resume.
Using Bluetooth with AV Signals
While using Bluetooth and an AV signal is received. When you are using the Bluetooth function of the
receiver and an AV signal is detected, the Magellan RoadMate will display a screen asking if you want to ignore
the AV signal and remain in the call or if you want to resume watching the AV signal and disconnect the Bluetooth
call.
Receiving a call while in AV Mode. If you are in AV mode and a call is received via Bluetooth, a screen will be
displayed asking if you want to answer the call and leave AV mode or to not answer and remain in AV mode. If
you choose to answer, you will return to AV mode once the call has ended.
Making a Call while in AV Mode. If while you are in AV mode and you want to make a Bluetooth call, tap the
display. The volume adjust screen is displayed with a Bluetooth Call icon at the bottom. Tap the Bluetooth Call
icon to switch to the Bluetooth calling function. When the call is completed, the receiver will return to the AV
mode.
Returning to Nav Mode from AV Mode
When the AV signal ends or the AV cable is removed, the receiver will switch back to Nav mode. If you were in a
route when you entered AV Mode, the route will continue upon entering Nav mode.
