VULCAN 1600 MEAN STREAK
Those twin shotgun pipes and sportbike 17-inch radial tires say it all—the Vulcan
®
1600 Mean Streak
®
is ready to get on
the gas and control the street. It gets its muscle from a higher performance 95 cubic-inch Vulcan V-Twin engine, but takes
its inspiration from our Ninja
®
sportbikes with an exclusive upside-down fork and powerful four-piston front brakes. Settle
into the lowdown 27.6-inch saddle, grab the chromed pullback bars, and thumb the electric starter. The Mean Streak’s
high-flow cylinder heads, special camshafts and digital fuel injection instantly go to work, delivering an authoritative
loping idle. Now drop the 5-speed transmission into gear, slip the clutch, and then feel the forward thrust carry you away.
Buildings and bystanders appear and recede, and before long you and those shotgun pipes own the road. But if anyone
asks where you’re going, just tell ‘em you’re on a Mean Streak.
