Top Strap
Canadian law requires that child restraints have a top
strap, and that the strap be anchored.
If your child restraint has a top strap, it should
be anchored.
If your vehicle is a regular cab pickup, an anchor
bracket is located behind the right front passenger’s seat.
In order to get to the bracket, you’ll have to remove the
trim plug covering it.
