ONE | HEADLAMPS AND FOG LAMPS
Turnthe controlone positionto theright toturnon theparkinglamps,instrument panel
lamps, license plate lamps and tail lamps. Turn the control to the second position on the
right to turnon the headlamps. Turn the controlone position to the left to activate
theautolampfeature(if equipped),whichautomaticallyturnstheexteriorlamps onand off,
based on available daylight. Pull the control towards you to activate the fog lamps, if
equipped.(Thefoglampswillnotoperatewhenthecontrolisturnedoff( )orwhenthehighbeamsareon).
TWO | PANEL DIMMER
Usethis controltoadjust thebrightness oftheinstrument panelandall applicableswitches
in the vehicle during headlamp and parking lamp operation. Move the control to the full
upright position, past thedetent, to turn onthe interior lamps.
THREE | ADJUSTABLE PEDALS (IFEQUIPPED)
Press thetop of the control to move the pedals further away from you or press the bottom
of the control to move the pedals closer to you. The pedals should only be adjusted when
the vehicle is stopped and in Park (P).
FOUR | HOOD RELEASE
To openthe hood,pull thehood release handleunder thebottom ofthe instrumentpanel,
near the steering column. Go to the front of the vehicle and release the auxiliary latch
located under the frontcenter of the hood. Use the prop rodto support the raised hood.
FIVE | SPEED CONTROL
Toset thespeed control,press and releaseON.Accelerateto thedesired speed.Press and
release the SET + control. Take your foot off the accelerator pedal. The speed control
indicator light will illuminate in the cluster. To set a higher speed: press and hold SET+
until the desired speed is reached, or briefly press SET+ to increase the speed by small
amounts. To set a lower speed: press and hold SET- until the desired speed is reached, or
brieflypressSET-todecreasethespeed bysmallamounts. PressRSMtoreturntothe previouslysetspeed.
To turn speedcontrol off, depress thebrake pedal or press OFF orCNCL (Cancel).
SIX | TILT STEERING COLUMN
To adjust the steering wheel, push the adjustment lever down to unlock the steering
column. While the lever is down, tilt the steering column to your desired position. While
holding the steering column in place, pull the lever up to its original position to lock the
steering column. Do notadjust while driving.
SEVEN | STEERINGWHEEL AUDIO CONTROLS

decrease/increasethe volume.Press–SEEK+ toaccesstheprevious/next strongstation
or CD track. Press MEDIA repeatedly to scroll through all possible media sources (AM,
FM1,FM2, CD ...etc). PressMUTE tomutethe playingmedia. Pressagain to return to the playing media.
SYNC Steering Wheel Controls (if equipped): Press to activate the Voice recognition
system. Press to answer a call if equipped with SYNC. Press and hold to end a call.

selections. Refer to yourSYNC supplement (if equipped) for more information.
EIGHT | MULTI-FUNCTION LEVER
Rotate the end of the control up to increase the speed of the wipers and rotate down to
decrease the speed of the wipers. Briefly press the end of the stalk for a single swipe of
thewipers withoutwasherfluid. Aquickpush andhold resultsinthree swipeswithwasher
fluid while a longer push and hold activates the wash pattern for up to five seconds. For
better visibility, your vehicle will automatically turn on your headlights if your windshield
wipers and autolamps (if equipped) are on. To operate your rear window wiper, turn
the rear wiper control to 1 (intermittent speed), 2 (normal speed), or off. For a rear wash cycle, turn the
rear wiper control to the position. Your rear wiper blades are automatically heated tohelp reduce any
ice build up onyour rear windshield.

ELEVEN | LOW TIREPRESSUREWARNING
Your vehicle is equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring
System(TPMS).Thisindicatorlight illuminateswhenyour
tirepressureislow.Whentheignitionisturnedon,thelightwill
illuminatefora fewsecondstoensurethatthebulbisworking.
If the light remains on, or begins to flash, check the tire
pressure.Iftheissuepersists,havethesysteminspectedbyan

TWELVE | SERVICE ENGINE SOON
The service engine soon light illuminates when the
ignition is first turned on to check the bulb. If the lamp
turns solid or blinks, the On Board Diagnostics System
has detected a malfunction. Drive in a moderate fashion
(avoid heavy acceleration or deceleration) and have your
vehicle serviced immediately.
THIRTEEN | ABSWARNING LIGHT
The ABS light illuminates briefly when the ignition is
turned on. If the ABS light remains on or continues to
flash, amalfunction has beendetected. Havethe system
serviced immediately by your authorized dealer. Normal
braking (less ABS) is still functional unless the brake
warning light is also illuminated.

FEATURES
LOCATION OF SPARETIRE
If you get a flat tire while driving, do not apply the brake
heavily. Instead, gradually decrease your speed. Hold the
steering wheel firmly and slowly move to a safe place on
the side of the road. Your vehicle is equipped with a
temporary spare tire. The spare tire and jack are located
under the carpeted floorpanel in the rear of the vehicle. If
the 3rd row seat is stowed in the floor, you will need to
unstow it to gain access to the spare tire and jack. The
temporary spare isdesigned for emergency use only and
should be replaced as soon as possible. For complete
details on how to change your tire, refer to the Roadside
Emergencieschapter in yourOwner’sGuide.

FUELTYPE ANDTANK CAPACITY
Depending on whether you have a Front Wheel Drive
(FWD)orAllWheelDrive(AWD)vehicleandifyourvehicle
has a special emissions package, yourfuel tank capacity
will either be 20 gallons (75.7L) or 20.5 gallons (77.6L).
Your vehicle is designed to use “Regular” unleaded
gasoline with an octane rating of 87. Do not use gasoline
labeled as “Regular” in high altitude areas that are sold
with octane ratings less than 87. Your vehicle was not
designed to run on E85 fuels that are blended with a
maximumof 85% ethanol.
ALLWHEELDRIVE(AWD) (IFEQUIPPED)
Your vehicle may be equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD).
TheAWDsystemis alwaysactiveandusesallfourwheelsto
power the vehicle. This increases traction, enabling you to
driveoverterrainandroadconditionsthataconventionaltwo-
wheel drive vehicle cannot. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for
moreinformation.Note:IfyourvehicleisequippedwithAWD,
a spare tire of a different size (other than the tire provided)
shouldnever be used. Using adifferent sizecould cause the
AWD system to stop functioning and default to front wheel
drive.Yourvehicleisnot intendedforoff-roaduse.
TIRE PRESSURE
Your tire pressure is properly set at the dealership
according to the recommended specifications found on
the Safety Compliance Certification Label or Tire Label
located on the B-Pillar or the edge of the driver’s door.
Check your tire pressure at least once a month and
before long trips (including spare). As an added safety
feature, your vehicle has been equipped with a Tire
Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that illuminates
a low tire pressure warning light when one or more
of your tires is significantly under-inflated. Improperly
inflated tires can affect vehicle handling and can fail
suddenly, possibly resulting in loss of vehicle control.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

the event of a crash which causes the deployment of
airbags or the activation of the safety belt pretensioners.
The turn signals will flash and the horn will sound. To
deactivatethesystem,pressthehazardflashercontrol
(located on the instrument panelby the radio), or youcan
pressthe button on yourremotetransmitter.
HAZARD FLASHER CONTROL
Press to activate the front and rear direction signals
when your vehicle is disabled and is creating a safety
hazard for other motorists.Press again to turn off.
