HEADLAMP AND PANEL DIMMER CONTROL
Rotate thecontrol clockwise one positionfrom off toturn on theparking lamps.
Rotate twopositions from off toalso turn onthe headlamps. Rotatecounterclockwise
from offto activate autolamp (ifequipped), which provideslight-sensitive automatic
on/off controlof the exterior lightsand keeps themon for ashort period oftime after
the ignitionis turned off. Whenthe control isin any positionexcept high beams oroff,
pull thecontrol toward you toactivate the foglamps(if equipped).
Use thepanel dimmer control, locatedto the rightof the headlampcontrol, to adjust thebrightness of
the instrumentpanel during the headlampsand parking lampsoperation. Rotate tothe full up position,
past thedetent, to turnon the interior lamps.Rotate to thefull down position,past the detent, to
prevent theinterior lights from illuminatingwhen doors areopened.
POWER ADJUSTABLE PEDALS (if equipped)
Press andhold the topend of rocker controlto adjust theaccelerator and brake
pedals awayfrom you. Holdthe lower end ofthe control tomove the pedalstoward
you. Adjustthe pedals only whenthe vehicle isstopped and thegearshift lever isin the
P (Park)position.
If equippedwith memoryfunction, the adjustablepedals, along with thedriver's seat, canbe
automatically positionedin two programmable positionsusing the controllocated on the driver'sseat.
Refer toyour Owner's Guide forinstructions on howto use thismemory feature.
SERVICE ENGINE SOON LAMP
Illuminates brieflywhen the ignition isturned to theON position, toensure the
system isfunctional. If the lightcomes on afterthe engine isstarted, refer to your
Owner's Guide.This lamp will illuminateif the fuelcap is notfully secured. In addition,
"Check fuelcap" will appear inthe message centerdisplay (if equipped).Make sure that
the fuelcap is secureby turning it clockwise1/4 of aturn until itstops.
ABS WARNING LAMP
Illuminates brieflywhen the ignition isturned to theON position. Ifthe light
comes onafter the engineis started, refer toyour Owner's Guide.
SPEED CONTROL (if equipped)
Toset the speedcontrol, press the ONbutton and release.Accelerate to the
desired speedand press theSET button and release.Once the systemis engaged, an
icon willappear in theinstrumentcluster.Toincrease speed, tapthe SET buttonand the
speed willincrease in small incrementseach time, oruse the acceleratorpedal to reach
desired speedand then pressSET. To reduce speed,press and hold CSTuntil desired
speed isreached. Release ortap the CST buttonand speed willdecrease in small increments.Also, you
can depressthe brake pedaluntil desired speed isreached and pressSET. PressRES/RESUME to return
the vehicleto a previouslyset speed if thevehicle is travelingmore than 30mph (48 km/h).
STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS (if equipped)
Thesecontrolsallowyouto operatefeaturesof theradioand climatecontrolsystems.Press to
selectAM,FM1, FM2(if equipped),TAPE,CD, FES/DVD,AUX(if equipped) orSAT1,SAT2,or
SAT3, ifyourvehicleis equippedwith thesefeatures.InAM, FM1orFM2 mode,press andreleaseSEEK
toselectthe nextpresetstationor pressand holdSEEKto selectthenext strongstationwithinthe
selectedradioband. InCDmode, pressandreleaseSEEK toselectthenext trackselectionon theCD or
pressandhold SEEKto fastforwardin thecurrenttrackselection.In CDmode,pressSEEK toselectthe
nextselectionon theCD.In anymode,pressVOL+ or– toadjustvolume.PressTEMP +or– toadjust
temperatureandFAN+ or– toadjustfan speed.
MESSAGE CENTER (if equipped)
With theignition on, themessage center displaysimportant
vehicle informationthrough a constant monitorof vehicle systems.The
system willnotify you of potentialvehicle problems bydisplaying
warnings, followedby a long indicatorchime. You may select theINFO
or SETUPbuttons on the messagecenter to displaytrip odometer,odometer,compass, distance to
empty,average fuel economy, andtrip elapsed drive time.The RESET buttonmay be usedto reset
selected functionsin the INFO andSETUP menus. Formore information about messagecenter
functions, pleaserefer to your Owner'sGuide.
FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL (ifequipped)
2H (2WDHIGH) delivers power tothe rear wheelsonly and isthe optimal
position forsmoothness and fuel economy. 4H(4x4 HIGH) provides mechanically
locked four-wheeldrive power to allfour wheels. 4L(4x4 LOW)provides mechanically
locked four-wheeldrive when extra powerat reduced speedsis required. Witheither
an electronicshift 4WD system ormanual 4WD system,to shift from2H to 4H movethe control atany
forward speed up to55 mph (88km/h). Toshift to orfrom 4L, bring thevehicle to astop and keepthe
brake pedaldepressed. Next, placethe gearshift in N(Neutral), and thenmove the controlto or from 4L.
Some mechanicalnoise may be heardwhen the systemengages. This isnormal and no service is
required. Note:The manual 4WD systemhas an N(Neutral) position inthe transfer case. Thissetting
overrides thetransmission and puts thevehicle in Neutralregardless of gearshift position.This setting
should onlybe used when towingthe vehicle.
AUXILIARY INPUT JACK (ifequipped)
Your vehiclemay be equippedwith an Auxiliary Input Jack(AIJ) located in the
instrument paneltray. Thisallows you toplug and playauxiliary audiodevices.
Press AUX repeatedlyon your audiosystem to access. WhenLINE IN appearsin the
display,plug in yourauxiliaryaudio device. Formore information, please referto your
Owner’s Guide.
IN-DASH CD6/MP3 DISC AUDIO SYSTEM (if equipped)

PASSENGER AIRBAG DEACTIVATED LAMP (ifequipped)

TRACTION CONTROL™ (ifequipped)
The TCS switchhas an indicatorlight that illuminates whenthe system isoff. The
system willautomatically turn on every timethe ignition isturned off and on.Formore
information, pleaserefer to your Owner’sGuide.
AUXILIARY POWER POINT (12V)
An auxiliary power pointis located onthe instrument panel.For SuperCaband
SuperCrew vehicles,there is an additionalauxiliarypower point locatedon the lower
rear sideof the centerconsole that is accessiblefrom the rearseats. Do NOT plug
optional electricalaccessories into the cigarettelighter.
REMOTE ENTRY SYSTEM (ifequipped)
Pressthiscontroloncetolockalldoors.Theparklampswillflash.Pressingthecontrol
asecondtimewillchirpthehorntoconfirmthatalldoorsareclosedandlocked,and
theparklampswillflashoncemore.
Press thiscontrol once to unlockthe driver's doorand twice tounlock all doors.
Press thiscontrol to sound thepanic alarm. To silence, pressthe control again, or
turn theignition on.
The remoteentry systemcan also controlthe memory feature (if equipped).Please refer
to yourOwner's Guide for instructionson how toactivate this feature.
KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM (if equipped)
With thiscontrol you canlock or unlockall doors without usinga key.
Unlockall doors =Enter the five-digit programcode and thenpress 3 •4
Lock alldoors = Press7 • 8 and9 • 0at the sametime
DRIVER / PASSENGER BELTMINDER
TheBeltMinderfeatureis asupplementalwarningto thesafety beltwarningfunction.
Thisfeature
providesadditionalremindersby intermittentlysoundinga chimeand
illuminatingthesafetybelt warning
lampin theinstrumentclusterwhenthe driver'sand
frontpassenger'ssafetybeltsare unbuckled.Both the
driver'sand frontpassenger's
safetybeltusagesare monitoredand eithermay activatethe BeltMinderfeature.
REVERSE SENSING SYSTEM (RSS) (ifequipped)
This sonarsystem sounds a toneto warn thedriver of obstaclesnear the rearbumper
when thereverse gear isselected. Obstacles can bedetected within approximately
6 feet(2 m) behindthe rear bumper whilethe vehicle movesin reverse atspeeds less
than 3mph (5 km/h). Thereverse sensing systemdefaults to on,but can be disabled
by turningthe ignition on, placingthe gearshift in(R) Reverse andpressing the RSS control.
An indicatorlight on thecontrol,located next tothe cigarette lighter,will illuminate when thesystem
is turnedoff.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (ifequipped)
Using radio-frequencypressuresensors, this systemmonitors tire pressure onall road tiresand
provides thedriver with ayellow warning light whenair needs tobe added. Messagecenter equipped
vehicles provideadditional warning messages. TheTPMS warning lightwill reset itself(turn off) after
the tiresare set tospecification and the vehicleis driven above20 mph (32km/h) for at least2
