Exterior Lamps
The main lamp control operates the following lamps:
Headlamps
Taillamps
Parking Lamps
License Lamps
Sidemarker Lamps
Instrument Panel Lights
Turn the knob to this position to turn on your
parking lamps and other operating lamps without
your headlamps.
Turn the knob to this position to turn on your
headlamps and other operating lamps.
Turn the knob to this position to turn off all
the lamps.
Headlamps on Reminder
If you turn the ignition to OFF and leave the lamps on,
you will hear a chime, lasting up to five seconds. If the
lamps are still on when you open the driver’s door, the
chime will sound again.
Daytime Running Lamps / Automatic
Headlamp Control (If Equipped)
Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) can make it easier for
others to see the front of your vehicle during the day.
DRL can be helpful in many different driving
conditions, but they can be especially helpful in the
short periods after dawn and before sunset. Fully
functional daytime running lights are required on all
vehicles first sold in Canada.
