If JAM-C occurs often, check out the cause and take necessary actions
according to the table below.

the fuser roller.
Remove the media. Note a
difference between the
paper’s grain (orientation of
paper fiber) and the printer’s
feed direction may cause fre-
quent jams. It is recom-
mended to use portrait grain
paper.

Media The print media has
become damp since it is
left for a long period
without being used.
Use media fresh from the
package.

The edge of the media
has been distorted.
Remove the edge-distorted
media from the paper tray,
or replace such media with
new ones fresh from the
package.

The wire side of a two-
sided paper is printed.
Load the paper with the felt
side facing upward.

Thin or thick media out

Use media that meets speci-

Installation
environment
The place around the
printer is too hot.
Keep the printer away from
heaters or office equipment
