Question About Volvo Automobile S40
stereo...

my s40 is ten yrs old my stereo says off wen i turn it on,nothing is working there is power and all cables are working,i just cant get the stereo to work tryed everthing,it will only show off on the screen wen you press on/off switch,no other button does anything. what can i do plz?

0 The key needs to be turned to the axilary (sp?) position (where it has two lines) for about 3 hours, then the radio should say 'code'. Then type in the code. It is a thief deterant thing.
