Location of Thermostat on a 1996 Toyota Surf with KZTE engine...

I have a 1996 Toyota Surf 4x4 and it overheats slightly when I accelerate for extended periods of time. I would like to fit a new thermostat to the KZTE engine. Where is the thermostat located?
