im trying to put a stock radio from a 94 4runner i...

im trying to put a stock radio from a 94 4runner into a 91 Toyota pickup. i did not take the radio out of the pickup and i am a little confused about the slightly different wiring. does the pickup plug into the radio threw an amp like the 4runner? or do the wires plug directly into the radio? any help is good help thank
