brought my vehicle in for an alternator replacement. auto starter worked fine. when I picked it up I found it wont stay running for more than 3 seconds when trying to start it with remote. it goes through the 3 cycle routine but kills after every attempt. door lock button still works. if the battery is disconnected for a period of time does the starter have to be reprogrammed by the installer?
