My service engine light went on about a week ago. I have given the car an oil change (for which it was due), changed the air filter, and added engine coolant which it was also low on. Other than that the car is running fine and nothing sounds or feels any differently than it normally does. Is it possible that the light itself could be faulty? I'd really like to avoid paying a lot of money to have a mechanic tell me there is nothing wrong if there is another possability. Thanks!
