I just purchased a 1490t and took a trip from daytona beach to panama city. The nuvi got us there but took us thru all the little towns despite the fact that I had it set for fastest time and have the 2010 maps. My son has an older nuvi 350 with 2009 maps and got to the same destination but faster and on major roads. How is this possible to have the latest model and not have the option to use major roads.
