I got a remote starter installed on my new 2014 escape from dealer. Every time I put the key in the ignition the vehicle shuts off before I turn the key, dealer tells me this is normal, is it?

0 Yes this is normal; this is an anti-theft feature... you want someone to have the key and not just drive off.
