On my 1997F-150 the "off" light on the overdrive control on the gear selection lever is blinking on and off. The transmission doesn't want to shift gears. When it does shift, it shifts hard. It bogs down when you accelerate and doesn't go very fast. It did this once before but stopped doing it. Now it has not stopped doing it. How do I correct this problem?
