My son who is in the military recently brought his car to Texas while he is deployed. When he got here I noticed he had this alarm installed in California, but it was disconnected. He said it had been working fine, except when he had trouble with the remote, he disconnected, because he could not shut off the alarm. I looked over the owners manual, but it does not have any information on troubleshooting this problem. I tried to reconnect it and installed a new battery on the remote, however neither of these two worked, When connected it still has the alarm activated. Is the problem with the remote, the unit it self or a disconnect from one of the sensors? Could you provide me infromation on what the problem could be. If there is nothing I can do to correct, is there an installation shop in my area, San Antonio Texas where I can take it to get serviced. It was installed ast Diamond Auto Security, in San Diego, California.
