0 Vehicles equiped with air bags, have the steering wheel straight ahead position locked with key out of ignition and yellow air bag connector disconnected at base of the steering column before attempting. Also if equiped with Delco Loc II anti theft audio system must be turned off. Disconnect (-) battery cable. Then look for a small canister like unit located under dash, near the cigarette lighter for 1998 and earlier models, for 1999 an later models look behind the glove box.
